Every ounce of force generated a thousand times

Masters of Tai Chi and qigong experts are slow to brag that they have managed to control a substantial amount of biokinetic energy that cruises in their very veins.

It is a ridiculous thought to those who are unable to fathom the almost unmeasurable force that remains latent in more ways than one.

But one thing is sure, practitioners who have succeeded in harnessing this energy have gone on to achieve miraculous deeds.

Often doubtful ones ask if such awesome strengths can be displayed for the enjoyment of all. But this is not for public consumption It is merely a tool, or even an art to improve some people's lives.

The universal aim is to spread this knowledge to as many people as possible across the globe. Since this is not possible, the attempt to teach as many people as possible about the benefits of this ancient art is still on-going.

For many, the attainment of this elemental force is near impossible because of the personal belief that it is impossible. Through such mental barriers, the art is forever lost to them.

The qigong energy has been tried and tested successfully over the centuries. Today, it stands on the threshold of a universal breakthrough but sceptics have blocked their own paths in recognising and accepting such a concept.

For those few of you who are done with those little thoughts, it's time to get up and do it.

Control your qi and feel eternity

The biokinetic energy that scientists found out decades ago still flows inexorably through your system.

The idea is to harness it and make it work to your advantage. It is a reasonably simple task if you know how to do it.

In fact, it's a bit like solving the Rubik's Cube. To nine tenths of the world's population, the Rubik's Cube is an eternal puzzle but to the one-tenth who know how to solve it, it is like eating a piece of pizza - real easy!

Now, how to move that qi energy? First, you have to achieve a level of physical fitness. It goes hand in hand (hopefully) with heightening your psychic awareness.

When the two are in place, the qi moves at your command. That's how ordinary people sometimes can lift cars or boulders to save their loved ones' lives.

That is the ultimate test of qi at work. We all don't know what we are capable of, until we come face to face with death, or is experiencing a life-threatening situation.

But the ideal condition is to build up this vast storage of internal energy and release it in concentrated amounts so as to power your living form into a storehouse of extraordinary strength.

Why have great strength when you don't know how to make use of it? The power of qi is, in a way, your secret weapon. You will have to tame it before you can use it, just like a wild mustang.

The Mind is the master

When you are ill, your body aches. But everything else obeys the master and it is the mind.

Make a mental commitment to get well. Will yourself back to the road to recovery. Even if your limbs cry for mercy, believe that your body is getting back to normal.

For centuries, martial arts exponents have abided by this principle. It is called will power. It has been termed as determination. It has even been labelled as tenacity.

Basically, it's just mind over matter. Believe that you can conquer your pains and they will obey your mind because the human mind is capable of more wondrous deeds than your heart will ever dare to care about.

The path to good health begins first in the mind, then it spreads throughout the body.

Learn to let go

Many practitioners of various arts, martial arts or exercise systems, try too hard to achieve a certain level of competency.

Some ancient arts like qigong, for example, actually require little effort. I don't mean being lazy but not "forcing it".

The art of qigong involves going into the zone and taking a stroll. It looks easy. In fact, it is.

Imagine yourself, rising up before dawn and walking slowly to your hall or whichever place you want to exercise. Don't switch on the lights. If you so desire, open the door and let the fresh air in.

Close your eyes and go through the motions - slowly. With great ease, feel the rhythm of an ancient dance. Yes, I call it a dance because when the body recognises the right signals, it activates the power from within.

The power is not like lifting a car with your bare hands but it is a kind of bio-kinetic energy. Scientists have tried measuring this form of energy for decades. Some do find it, while others are not so sure.

But if you are having problems trying to get the right feel of whatever qigong system you are involved in, your problem could be that you are trying too hard and not learning to enjoy going through the motions.

Half the battle is actually relaxing. Qigong is not like karate or taekwondo. You don't need to leap high in the air or smash three bricks with a single punch.
